Simmentaler breeders

Ibenstein Simmentaler was founded by Michael Krafft in 1964 and is run by his son Rene

Krafft since 2012. Stud bulls are selected on EBV’s, good muscling and strong legs. Regular pregnancy diagnosis as well as bull testing have resulted in a healthy and extremely fertile herd. Bulls are selected as from weaning and only superb bulls with high fertility and sound health sold an auction.

Lichtenstein Simmentaler stud is owned by the fourth Rusch generation. Started in the late 1890’s by importing Simmentalers from Germany, the stud has been developed on Lichtenstein in the Khomas Hochland for 120 years. Good evaluation skills passed on over generations combined with stringent selection based on modern breeding statistics produces Simmentalers with excellent performance.
